29 September is Australia’s National Day of Action for Gaza
For nearly twelve months, politicians have stood by and watched on as Israel continues its appalling, humanity-shattering assault on Gaza.
On 18 September, we witnessed Australia fail once again at the United Nations General Assembly, abstaining from voting for the State of Palestine's motion to end Israel's unlawful occupation.
Despite all this, we continue to be heartened by the individuals, communities and organisations standing united for human rights and justice, refusing to accept Israel's genocide as normal.
AFOPA is partnering with groups around Australia in a National Day of Action on 29 September.
