DONATE TO THE PEOPLE OF GAZA
Since early October 2023 the people of Gaza have been subjected to horrific violence by the state of Israel. After 3 weeks over 9,000 people have been killed in Israeli bombing raids and armed assaults. Almost half of the dead are children. Over 20,000 people have been injured. More than 1.4 million people have been displaced. The devastation is beyond anything previously experienced by the people of this tiny enclave, which is one of the most densely populated places on earth.

The people of Gaza need your help. You can do this by donating to a number of appeals that are in place to respond to this crisis:
APPEH appeal for PCRF
The Australian-Palestinian Partnerships in Education and Health (APPEH) is a tax deductible South Australian organisation. Donations to APPEH will be forwarded to the US based Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), one of the main humanitarian groups long supported by AFOPA. Donations to APPEH are safe.
Payments can be made to APPEH through online banking and should be marked ‘PCRF’.

Human Appeal
Human Appeal has raised over $1 million in Adelaide alone since mid-October. Human Appeal has people on the ground in Gaza providing direct help to the injured and displaced. AFOPA helped support Human Appeal at its recent fundraising events. Donate to their Gaza Emergency Appeal.
