Remembering the Nakba: A Commemorative Gathering
The purpose of the commemorative gathering is to
Remember and pay our respects to all the Palestinians who have lost their lives as a result of the partitioning of Palestine in 1948.
Help us better understand the grief, suffering, injustice and devastation experienced by generations of Palestinians by the ongoing conflicts, as a result of the continued occupation of Palestine by foreign armed forces
Pray for peace and prosperity, where Palestinian’s live in their own homeland, without the fear of violence.
The commemorative gathering will hear from a number of speakers from across the community.
The gathering will be held at 7:30 pm at the Mosque at 658 Marion Rd, Park Holme on Nakba Day, Wednesday 15th May, 2024.
People from all faiths and walks of life are invited to attend.
