70 Years of Nakba - Protest in Melbourne

Melbourne, VIC

Join Palestinians and solidarity activists for this 70 year commemoration of the Nakba.

The Nakba is, for Palestinians, the catastrophe, the year when the Israeli state forcibly expelled three quarters of the Palestinian population from their villages and homes. This was one of the first acts in an ongoing process of ethnic cleansing and dispossession of Palestinians from their lands.

Join this protest to demand justice for Palestinians and to say

  • End the Israeli occupation
  • Allow Palestinian refugees the right of return
  • Stop settlement building
  • Stop Israel's colonisation of Jerusalem
  • Stop Trump's embassy building in East Jerusalem
  • Free all Palestinian prisoners
  • End the seige of Gaza
