All members and guests are welcome to attend the 2017 Annual General Meeting of the Australian Friends of Palestine Association.

Time/date: Friday 21 July 2017, 6:00pm-8:00pm

Venue: Thebarton Community Centre, Corner of South Road and Ashwin Parade, Torrensville (car park entrance via South Road), South Australia.

Guest Speaker: The Hon. Tammy Franks

Tammy joined Greens’ State Parliamentary Leader, Mark Parnell, as one of two Greens members in the Legislative Council in March 2010. Prior to her election, Tammy worked as a policy officer for the Mental Health Coalition of South Australia – the peak mental health community sector body in the state. Tammy has also worked with non-government human rights agencies including Amnesty International and the YWCA of Adelaide and was appointed as YWCA of Australia NGO delegate to the United Nations Beijing +10 conference on women’s human rights in 2005.
