Join thousands of South Australians at the steps of Parliament House as we again turn out to show our solidarity with the Palestinian people and express our outrage at this genocide against them by the state of Israel.

Hon Tammy Franks MLC

This rally will hear from Hon Tammy Franks MLC, Parliamentary Leader of The Greens SA. She will tells us about what The Greens have been doing to to confront the Australian Government’s deplorable response to the genocide in Gaza, as well as address the attack on The Greens as antisemitic.

Raphael Duffy

Raphael Duffy, anti-Zionist Jewish activist with Students for Palestine Adelaide, has kindly agreed to fill in for activist Michelle Berkon from Jews Against the Occupation ‘48, who unfortunately is unwell. Michelle will be in Adelaide at a later date to talk about Jewish activism in Australia for a free Palestine and the weaponisation of accusations of antisemitism.

Our demands remain:

• an immediate and permanent ceasefire

• that unfettered humanitarian aid immediately is allowed into Gaza

• that our government imposes sanctions on Israel

• that our government recalls the Australian ambassador to Israel and expels the Israeli Ambassador to Australia

• that Australia establishes an arms embargo on Israel and all defense materiel produced in Australia is banned from being sent to Israel

• an end to the occupation and apartheid.
