Special Film Screening - It Must Be Heaven

We are pleased to bring you this special film at festival time. We know you’ll love this warmhearted comedy from Palestine's pre-eminent film maker, Elia Suleiman.

In this delightful comedy Suleiman travels to different cities around the world and finds unexpected parallels to his homeland of Palestine. It Must be Heaven was the winner of Best in Competition at the 2019 Cannes Film festival, and has been nominated for 14 other awards, winning 3. This AFOPA event consists of the film only, with a short introduction by AFOPA member and film buff, Krystyna Pindral, who has taken on the project of finding great films for our Association to screen.
