GLOBAL PEACE PETITION:
In conjunction with the event, The Muriel Matters Society is organising a petition which will be presented to the South Australian Parliament’s Legislative Council. If 10,000 signatures are collected a Parliamentary Committee will investigate and report to the Parliament, and the Government will be required to respond.
The petition highlights that we live in internationally turbulent times and are witness to the destructive consequences being endured by those living in war zones throughout the world; and that we believe every member of every community needs to come together in support of global peace.
Please Download the Petition, gather signatures and return to The Society on or before 31 January 2025
