The north of Gaza has been declared ‘successfully cleansed’. Stadiums once used for sport are used as concentration camps where Palestinians are tortured then executed. Pregnant women carrying white flags to hospitals are openly fired on. The genocide hasn’t stopped, it’s gotten worse.

All the while the U.S. funds Israel and provides them with the high tech weapons necessary for ethnic cleansing. Australia continues to describe Israel as a ‘good friend’ and maintains ties with a genocidal state. Albanese’s support for a ceasefire is far too little and far too late.

The global Palestine solidarity movement must continue to stand with Palestine, now more than ever.

We need to demand a REAL end to the bombing; a full withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza, lift the siege, stop colonising the West Bank, release all Palestinian political prisoners now. We also call on the Australian government to cut ties with Apartheid Israel.

We remind everyone that the struggle for a free Palestine is an anti-racist struggle. We condemn and oppose all forms of racism, including anti-semitism and Islamophobia.
Ours is a struggle against the state of Israel, not against Jewish people, many of whom oppose Zionism, and who have a long history of being part of our movement for a free Palestine.
Anyone wishing to express anti-semitic views is not welcome at our protests.
